Piper & Feathers

Pipers "Feather" fell out yesterday;  It was a grand event at our house.

Zane is very excited that Piper has a belly button just like him.

The Story:

The first time Zane saw Pipers belly he asked why she had a feather.  We had to look and figure out what he was talking about.  It is so cute that that is what he thought it looked like.  And that's what we all called her umbilical cord from then on.  We did explain to him what it was and he was sure to check on her feather every day.  He was very worried about her having a real belly button.

So now Piper has grown up.  Day 17 and a real belly button.
