Christmas Time

Merry Christmas! I love this time of year, the hustle and bustle, the shopping, Christmas lights and presents under the tree. What I especially love is spending time with family. We get to start out our Christmas traditions with the Morgan family, or as Cambrie says; Great Papa's and Great Grandma's. We have a nice dinner and home evening. The little great-grand daughters (Savannah, Cambrie, and Madison) played a little dress up during all this. They are so fun to watch! Cambrie was Cinderella that day. She insisted on wearing her dress for most of the day.

Isn't she just funny!
Then out comes the Christmas Pie. Its a big bowl with every ones names attached to string with one end hidden in the "pie". We all recite the poem about Little Jack Horner. When we say, "he stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum," we all pull on our string to reveal whats on the other side. Its a fun tradition that started with Grandpa Morgan. The little grand kids got to do their own this year too. What a fun way to start the season. We are blessed to be able to spend holidays with family and look forward to lots more fun days ahead!

How cute! I love the aprons! Where did you guys get them? Also, what kind of stuff do you pull out of the pie? That is a cute idea! BTW, congrats on finally having a blog!
