Halloween Hangover

We have so much fun at Halloween time! Each year we go visit Grandma Carol and Grandpa Bill all dressed up. This year we went at the end of the month which made Cambrie a little worried. She didn't want to miss seeing them! Zane is a spider this year and Cambrie is Snow White. That spider costume was adorable on Zane! And Cambrie is always cute in her princesses (she is still a princess almost every day).

We carved pumpkins this year which was a first for us. Cambrie was really hesitant to touch the goup. But she did end up digging in and getting the guts all cleaned out. She was a big helper! Zane on the other hand wanted to get his hands in it from the start. Our pumpkins turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself! It took longer than expected and Blake was getting a little frustrated but even he liked them in the end.

The kids started their trick-or-treating early at Blakes work. They get a pretty good haul there and its warm and close together. Thats always a plus in my book. Madison got to come with us. No, I don't have 3 kids.


We attended the ward trunk-or-treat. Another fast and easy haul. Cambrie got to be with her friend Shayla



Papa and Grandma hosted a fun Halloween party this year. It was filled with games, witches brew, chili, and mummy rolls.

Whew. Lots of Halloween activities! We did do some real trick-or-treating also. Cambrie absolutely loved it! She didn't want to stop and Zane was so funny! He got the concept really fast. He would knock on the door get his candy and say "thank you" in his little language. Its so fun taking the kids out! Now we have way to much candy and we are exhausted!
