I recently taught Cambrie the good ol' game of Slug Bug. Yes, the one when you see a bug then you "slug" someone next to you. We don't actually slug anyone. We give high fives or just shout out what we see.
So today we went to Target. While we were getting out of the car I heard a clunking noise. I looked around
and didn't see anything so I shrugged it off as nothing. 2 steps later Cambrie says to me,
"Slug Bug Black! Mom, I hit it just like you taught me!"
I couldn't do anything for a minute but laugh.
Yes, we re-talked the rules of the game. She now understands that we don't actually slug the bug.

Too funny! I'm glad to know that this infamous game is being passed on to the next generation.
