Happy Easter

It's been a busy weekend!  Not only did Blake get to come home for a few days.  But we had conference and Easter = lots to do!
To start off with I spent Friday night with my high school girls.  It's crazy to think how long we have been friends.  Lots of memories with those girls.  I met them all when I was 12.  We were each others safety net all through junior high and most of high school.  It was fun to see what everyone was up to.
Saturday we had the normal girls night while the boys went to conference.  This year the kids got to go on a crazy easter egg hunt.  They had to be so patient while the others all showed up.  It was really hard.
Zane made me laugh.  He found one egg and hung on.  Then he found the balloon.  He was happy.  But then he found a bag of cookies.  Which he promptly said "ookie", and ripped it open.

Cambrie was a little unsure of all the crazy kids running around.  She stayed pretty close to me and was real careful.  She did have fun though and put all the eggs she found in her basket after.
Sunday the Easter bunny came to our house and left his silly string trail.
He left a family basket with a little candy, the Gospel Art Book, and The Book of Mormon Stories.  He was trying to help us remember the real reason we have Easter.  He also left a little toy at the end of the string for the kids (and Blake).

It's good to have Easter and Spring and all the simple reminders around us that we are loved.

Cute kids! I love the family photo; Jake was also bawling when we tried to take a picture on Easter.
